Good topic, but what angle do you plan to take? Another ‘it’s time to impeach the mofo’ piece, like everyone seems to be saying (again)? Drawing some distinctions between actual opposition research and taking aid and comfort from ‘the enemy’ (declared or otherwise) might be a start.
You know me well in thinking I need a good angle. I have something cooking. More soon.
I was brought up to believe that you respect the office of POTUS, no matter how vehemently you disagree with the person holding it. But this president has done more to disrespect the office than any previous occupant, and here he once again openly admits to unethical behavior. Unfortunately, because we have the amoral Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader, the likelihood of Trump being held accountable for anything is slim to zero – at least until he’s out of office.
Hi Sarah. That’s right re McConnell. But I think there’s something else we can do. We can light a fire under liberals to act more patriotically. By which I mean to act with more passion. More on that soon. JS
I agree – also the point raised Tuesday night at Politics in Plain Language about getting young people involved, and more importantly, VOTING.
